Anti-wrinkle injections are a non-surgical method to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Wrinkles can be caused by repeated facial muscle contraction during expressions and over time can become deeper.
Anti-wrinkle injections involve small amounts of Botulinum Toxin Type A under the skin. Botulinum Toxin is derived from the bacteria Clostridium Botulinum and is purified for clinical and cosmetic use. The Botulinum Toxin then reduces the muscular contraction in that area and allowing the muscles to relax. This gives the desired effect and improving the appearance of wrinkles. The treatment duration can vary but typically can last 3 to 4 months.
All appointments require a consultation with our Prescriber in person to allow us to inform and discuss the treatment, as well as understand the result you are after.
